SUMMARY:Self Defense Class for YRO Women
DESCRIPTION:Arketa Foundation’s mission is to educate and teach empowerment based self-defense designed to instill women and girls with skills that will lead to increased awareness\, confidence\, and safety. This program is focused on violence prevention. Our self-defense class will be taught in three 2.5 hour sessions. Arketa Foundation’s empowerment based self-defense workshop will cover the following: \n\nSituational Awareness\nBoundary Setting\nVerbal & Physical Self-Defense\nDomestic Violence\nIntuition & Bias\nDe-escalation Techniques\nTrafficking in America\nFight\, Flight\, Freeze & Fawn\n\nYoung Roots is partnering with Arketa Foundation for this great workshop.
