Families are empowered by peer leaders to share how Young Roots can grow, learn, and be better. Giving recommendations on everything from food, fliers and activities to the aesthetic of the Family Hub environment. The Parent Voices Council also provides opportunities for parents to participate in community research projects and state government agency surveys and listening sessions to increase their voice to decision makers that impact their lives.

Each participant is paid a $25 stipend through Family Support & Connections Program funding.
