Join The Vegucation Station on Tuesday, March 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the YRO Family Hub (1630 SE 9th St, Albany) to learn how to cook with local vegetables from Eloisa Organic Farm.
This Latino & woman-owned farm was started by Virginia Herrera in 2019 to grow Oaxacan foods for the community.
Instructors Laura Bennett (The Vegucation Station) and Diego Nieto (Linn County Public Health) will help you discover simple, delicious meals that you can easily recreate at home.
Come early for a family dinner from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and take advantage of onsite childcare.
This free, all-inclusive class is designed for young parents ages 10 through 24, but partners outside that age range are welcome to attend.
Serving residents of Linn and Benton counties; transportation is provided for those in the 97321 and 97322 zip codes.
