New Family Haven Shelter Program

For families (pregnant or parenting) with head of household being 18-29 years old who are facing either (at least one) of the following circumstances:

• Escaping domestic violence from any location and/or
• Have been literally homeless for at least 24 hours; “literally homeless” means that you/your family does not have a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence and are sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation (i.e. car, campground, street), or are staying in an emergency shelter or exiting a short-term institution (i.e. treatment or rehabilitation center) with no transitional housing plan.

If you are outside of Linn County and need support with transportation getting here, we may have resources to help provide safe transport.
