Courageous Engagement | Compromiso Valiente

Helping parents and partners recognize and respond to every day conflict and crisis situations. People will recognize and indentify their own triggers, body responses to crises, and how to settle their own bodies. They will gain verbal de-escalation skills and how to support working through conflict.

Thursdays, April 4 – May 16.

Young Roots Oregon is a culturally specific non-profit empowering young parents ages teen through 24 years old and their children. If a partner is older, they are welcomed to join as we desire to serve the family, but one parent has to be within our teen to age 24 demographic.

Inclusive support for fathers, mothers, LGBTQIA+ community, and native Spanish speakers.

Ayudando a los padres y parejas a reconocer y responder a situaciones de conflicto y crisis cotidianas. Las personas reconocerán e identificarán sus propios desencadenantes, respuestas corporales a las crisis y cómo calmar sus propios cuerpos. Obtendrán habilidades de desescalada verbal y cómo apoyar el trabajo a través del conflicto.

Young Roots Oregon es una organización sin fines de lucro culturalmente específica que empodera a jóvenes padres de adolescentes hasta 24 años y sus hijos. Si un compañero es mayor, son bienvenidos a unirse ya que deseamos servir a la familia, pero uno de los padres debe estar dentro de nuestro rango demográfico de adolescentes a 24 años.

Apoyo inclusivo para padres, madres, comunidad LGBTQIA+ y hablantes nativos de español.
